Anastasia is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts/Law at Monash University. She joined MGF for the opportunity to use her education to make a difference in the lives of others and give back to her community. 

 

“I decided to apply to the Magical Getaway Foundation as I believe that holidays and time away from the pressures of everyday life are crucial for families. Coming from a single-parent family myself, holidays were one of the few times where my family could fully relax. I can think of no better way to give back to my community than by helping disadvantaged Australian families take a break and create lasting family memories they otherwise couldn’t have had.”

Anastasia first joined MGF in May 2020 as a volunteer and in December 2021 accepted a position as a Board Director.

 

In her spare time, Anastasia enjoys scuba diving and has been a certified diver since 2018.
