Teague Rook

Advisory Director

Teague Rook joined the Board in 2018. He first became involved as a volunteer design consultant to help MGF bring hope to vulnerable Australian families.

​

Teague has spent 20 years in the entertainment industry as an actor, alongside running his own freelance design company.

​

More recently, Teague stepped into primary school teaching driven by a passion to inspire young people to develop the skills to become critical and creative thinkers. Teaching opened his eyes to the everyday plight of disadvantaged children and their families and the impact of trauma.

​

In his spare time, Teague writes and produce short films, coaches basketball, writes some more and spends quality time with his family.

​

Most Cherished Childhood Holiday Memory - Easter camping trips with the family.

Favourite Destination - Pokhara, Nepal

Favourite Holiday Activity - Spending quality time with my wife and three children.
